Leaving on a Jet Plane!
This time next week I will be back in South Africa!
Although I am going to miss my home and family here, it is going to be wonderful to see my family there.
I have cooked enough food to feed Chris for the month (and then some), so I don't need to worry about him starving.....although I am sure he will eat out more while I am away, I am happy in knowing he has good food at home.
It is going to be strange this time going back as it has been 28 months since I was last home. Driving on the other side, manual/stick shift cars, no water restrictions, load shedding (where power gets turned off countrywide for 2 hours), eating less and not working everyday are going to take a bit of getting used to but it will be great.
I CAN'T WAIT! But at the same time I can...there is some much to be done. Primarily with my garden. I have many seedlings and seeds that still need to go in the ground and just not enough time in daylight hours, as I work all day, to get it done.
Any special requests either for going there or coming back?
I am going to try an keep up the blog while I am there but it will take me a while to get set up with internet.
Stay tuned.....
