Good Bye

Our Gran, Lorraine Lila Campbell (nee Bentley) died today. She was 70 years and 19 days young.

I miss her. I hate the fact that I am so far removed and that I did not get to see her when I was back in SA for Christmas (she was in New Zealand). I also wish there was something I could have done for her, but I am glad she is not suffering or in pain anymore.
She is now an Angel among the Angels. She is missed and loved but now at peace.

Good bye gran, I love you.

"Old age is very sad"........and it just got SADDER!

My gran, Lorraine Campbell, is in hospital in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, for bronchial pneumonia and suspected kidney failure. One of her lungs has collapsed. This is the second time in 2 weeks that she has been in, last week was for a reaction to her cortizone. This time I have been told that she may not make it.

I am feeling very badly today and trying hard not to break down and cry every time I think of her.

Please pray for her, she is a strong person who seems to have given up faith in the world.

P.S. "Old age is very sad" is something my gran used to say to me a lot as an 'excuse' for everything.

Okay so THEY WON!!!!

The Carolina Hurricanes (the local team) won the NHL Stanley Cup!

Apparently I am not posting often enough...I know I know.
